Wow - not at all what I'm seeing. I see a lot of threads going where other threads have gone before, but that's just because it seldom occurs to people that they may not be the first person in the history of the universe to have had a given experience (or, more commonly) to dare to ask about it.

Some people also aren't good with searches -- I admit the search function here gives me problems, and I work in a library, for Pete's sake. :lipssealedsmilie: Sometimes it's easier just to ask than dig through search results.

I've been mostly away from AC for the past couple of months and, coming back, there does seem to be a drop off "useful" threads, but I put that down to the coming holidays -- seasonality. To, AC is as useful a community as it's ever been.

that's also debatable. I come to AC to unwind, have a laugh. .. To me, that's pretty useful, an it's what I like best about GCC.

On the fish info on the other sections on the site, I do think that there still is mounds of extremely useful information.

I think AC has been regarded as a very general type of fish site, but we have expanded it to cater to the needs of those who want more specific answers to their questions, by adding subforums to various sections. So in that sense, i think AC has become more informative, in a more organized way.

I choose what threads to involve myself with, and I don't let the ones that aren't my "style" bother me.

I'll admit that I tend to be "post happy" in that some of the advice I give may not be as useful to others, and I tend to post in agreement with a lot of previous posts. But hey, that's what AC is all about, offering your experience and opinions to help out in any way possible.

My posts vary depending on my mood. Some days you just don't feel like typing several paragraphs of the same information that you've posted in other threads over and over again. Sometimes simply agreeing with another poster's answers gives the OP some reassurance that they're receiving good info.
