marimo moss balls and hair algae

Aegagropila linnaei is a species of filamentous green algae. Like I said...I do think this problem can be avoided by keeping them in a low light tank with lots of movement.

I attribute the problems I was having to high light and lack of moving them.

I had hair algae and my shrimp took care of it, I have marimo moss balls growing on driftwood, and they dont seem to get long like hair algae, I now have some growing on the side of the tank, and the shrimp dont bother it, so, I it might just be marimo moss
