I know someone that had a 55g tank break, and the water damage to the
living room was -- 'bad'. The saltwater from the tank crept up into the walls. The drywall damage was expensive. The carpet was replaced. The tank broke from a rock that fell from inside the tank. A "bad" stand will give the same results...

that's one tough little stand,add some duct tape here and there and it might last another few days.:shakehead::shakehead:...."common sense just isn't common anymore".
