Co2 Technical problem..AGAIN. This is torture...Need some help

Bump, any more advice guys? =)

Teflon tape was actually my option 2 already...I not going over pipe dope..again. It fails me

Could you guys think of any more problems besides not creating enough pressure for my two last ports? I cranked my PSI all the way screwed in and it's a still no can do, but, can do for my first 2 ports, their bubble count and pressure is very strong. I just can't figure out why my two last folds aren't working for me???

No more thoughts into this guys? Looks like I'm going to have to try to replace the old low pressure gauge for a new one... Hopefully REX gets back to me SOON. I know how lousy he is to get back to people.. ¬_¬

The low pressure gauge isn't the problem. If it was, you wouldn't get pressure out of any of the outlets. It doesn't need to be replaced.

Use some common sense. Two valves work meaning there's nothing wrong with them. Two valves don't work meaning there IS something wrong with the output AT that point or beyond.

You have the find the LEAST COMMON factor at the point of failure.

A simple test would be to swap one of the valves that isn't working into the position of one that is.

If the one that isn't working starts working in the good position, you know your port is the problem. The one that was working should stop working too. That would be double proof.

And BTW, quit saying Rex is lousy about getting back with people. He is an adult with a real life and responsibilities other than answering your email.

If the one that isn't working doesn't work and the one that was working works in the position that wasn't, it's the valve or something past it that isn't working.

Understand?

I honestly think you need to simplify your output manifold and not ever use pipe dope on it.

If you show me a picture of what your current manifold output looks like, I can tell you what you need to simplify it.

Give me a break, why do you defend him..? Do you think I like waiting for his butt for 4 months just to get back to me? He done that once to me when all I wanted was some simple hardware... Do you think that's fair? I know for a fact he's adult man, he has a life and a wife, his job is being a mailman, he likes to smoke and drink beer, I know he's been sick, I know how arrogant he is, he dislikes people who spam him with emails, then he spams you, then he hates you, etc I know him, okay? It wasn't until later I found out greenleafaquariums, they had stuff he had And now. It's been 3 days and he hasn't gotten back to me..BUT OF COURSE, I bet his saturday's and sunday's is his days off;SO MAYBE he will actually get back to me tonight or tomorrow hopefully that will prove I'm wrong about him being lousy. =P Other than being lousy with replying emails, I suppose he's chill though, he knows a lot about planted tanks, co2, lighting, nutrients, hardwares, etc his website has a lot of information, a great resource for all and it's free, so thats cool..but he's still arrogant lol

Okay, so be it, it will take a month, let's end the ranting, let's get back to subject..

Okay, so just changing the low pressure will not fix anything so I'll try that out your advice tonight Nolapete, you do mean the needle valves, right?

Here are some pictures

First off, if the low pressure gauge is blown, replace it. It's not your problem here, but it's good to know what you are dealing with. Gauges are cheap. Go to a welding supply place and buy what they tell you to.

Secondly, I don't see an answer to this, so I'll ask. What happens when you completely close the first 3 needle vavles and turn up the pressure? It really sounds like some kind of blockage between valves 2 and 3. If nothing happens when you close valves 1,2, and 3 and turn up the pressure, I'd crack the manifold open between valves 2 and 3 and see whats happening inside.

And I understand what you are saying about Rex. As a hobbyist trying to help out other hobbyist, it's good to be patient with him, but as a businessman it's ok to hold him to a higher standard.
