Some Questions about live rocks ...

Ya, live rock is REALLY hard to come by now. All the wholesalers are out because the govts overseas are really cracking down on the bans in place with harvesting live rock from many places, biggest one being Fiji. At least that is what I have heard from several wholesalers first hand down in LA.

yeah i found some but they 'r unbeliveable expensive !!!!!!
anyway ,
the lfs has lotsa these rocks :

for sure they were alive one day , but it seems they were outta any water for bout 1 year atleast or more , so can i just put them in the tank to cure them ??? i mean will they back to live after this long ???!!!

Yup, that is just called "Base Rock" when it is left to dry out like that. It can definately be used again and it will turn into good live rock in a few months in a tank.

wohooooo ... thats good news , cuz the lfs seems to dosnt know bout that and sell them so cheap , i bought 10 pounds of it for about 10$ , but i washed it with soup and bleach , is it any hope , or i should buy more again and forget bout this one ?
and if i should buy more , i should just wash it with tab water only , yeah ?

die off most likely... yep... not much you can do but you could light a candle to offset the smell :thm:
