Ready to go planted!!!

I have just about all the supplies i need put it order to set up the tank....now all i need is for all this product to arrive!!!! that part is going to kill me!

Saturday im going to the LFS, buying 20 pounds of flourite and 40 pounds of eco complete...and then im done!!!!!:dance:

Now i just need to pick specifics on the plants and fish

its a 30 gallon tank. 30x12x20....

are you going co2? most tanks can be planted right away with low level plants and 2 watts or less light. my tanks are planted and I did not spend a fortune on flurite etc. I have 2 watts per gallon and my plants are beautiful.

At 2.2wpg C02 is strongly encouraged. As well as a good fertilization regimen.

I have 2.2 watts per gallon and I do no use Co2.. you do not have to with 2.2 watts oh and ferts? not usually in my tanks at all.

I'm running a little over 2 watts per gallon on my planted tank and I wouldn't not run co2. I've got algae problems as is.

But, I guess it depends on the tank and the plants...lol. I think I grow algae better then plants.
