Multiple shrimp species in one tank?

To my knowledge, a newly set-up planted tank with seeded media is not exactly an "aged" tank. So I do think I chose my words carefully. But of course, like all things, there are many interpretations. To each his own.

I have to agree with Yadokari. Typically when hobbyist refer to an "aged" or "established" tank they are referring to a tank that has been running trouble free for 6 months to a year after it has cycled.

That is true. The tank needs to be cycled, not "aged or seasoned" for shrimp, though I prefer to have a well established tank for shrimp as they graze constantly. Same thing with snails, they do better as do most aquarium inhabitants, in a tank that is well established over new. Sorry for the misinterpretation :)

The greens I'm am looking at are the Caridina sp. "Dark Green"
