The house network is growing. I have a 4 port wireless router but need 6 ports. I've heard of bridging wireless routers but haven't found much info on it. One router would be in the living room the 2nd in the kids room.

The living room router as it stands has 3 ethernet cables attached to it and the bedroom 1 wireless adapter. We are moving 1 comp to the kids room so they now need 2 but still need 3 connections in living room to be able to play the gaming consoles.

Any tips on how to do this?

Sorta confused, do you need 6 wired connections or have 6 devices in total?

If you have a wireless router in the living room with wired connections, the upstairs devices could connect through wireless.

I have a HUB sitting around I never used. Could I use that and run a comp and the gaming consoles off that or would it slow me down to much?

That is why I'm confused. The rest of the computers, as long as they have wireless cards, can access a wireless router. I even set up a few repeater/range extenders in my home to extend the signal to every area of the house.
