A glimpse of my new snails

Here are some poor shots of my assassin snail eating MTS. I didn't know the gravel I scooped for a new tank had some MTS that survived the wrath of my tiger loaches. They ended in the hands of the five assassin snails instead.:lipssealedsmilie:

More new assassins are coming this month.

Thanks. lol...I still have one pouch snail trying to evade the assassin snails. It spends most of its time clinging near the water surface to avoid the assassin snails.:headshake2:

Nice pics . How do the assasins eat other snails? Do they crunch on its shell or eat it whole?

They eat by sucking the body with their siphon. MTS have very hard shells, hard even for most puffers.
