Please specify the pics by the number they are in order from 1 at the top

Thanks all ,

Thanks everyone!

lol thanks guys. They are in a 55 gallon with an AC110 an Eheim 2215 A top fin 60 300GPH HOB and an under gravel filter so they are happy.

There are 8 Cichlids total and I believe there are two pairs of the same species.

Here we go
the soild yellow ones are Labidochromis caeruleus or yellow labs as they are commonly known
the yellow with the black horizontal stripes is a Melanochromis auratus

the light blue one with a bit of black on it's fins I believe is a Pseudotropheus socolofi
One of the blue ones looks like it have vertical stripes which makes me think it's a kenyi or Maylandia lombardoi
I think your orange one is a Maylandia estherae or red zebra
And that's that :)

X2 Blue, I do believe you answered it correctly!

You may have aggression issues with the fish you have. Kenyi and Auratus are both known to be highly aggressive. The Socolofi and Yellow Labs, in general, are mild for mbuna, and the Red Zebra are middle of the road.

Nice cichlids. Sometimes it's hard to know what you have when you buy fish from tanks labeled "Mixed" or "Assorted" African Cichilds. Many times that's how pet stores get rid of hybrids.
