What are some good bottom feeders for a cichlid tank?

Thats sweet, I got a Chinese algae eater and he does some good work as well. At least when they are not being eaten by the Bichir

In my opinon, Chinese Algae eater are THE DEVILS' WORK.

Evil fish, they'll end up attacking your other lovely fish I reckon.

I keep hearing this but about every time I read this my Bichir manages to eat a larger one. So maybe your right the bichir gets angry and eats them lol. Sounds like I need to invest in a prettier algae eater.

there are a bunch of lawyers around here... but I don't know how they would do in a cichlid tank...

lol if I could teach my bichir to eat lawyers I would be running events at my house for mesothelioma patients.

Common plecs can run from 8"-24" too big for a 55 gal.
