How much water do you change every week?

I'm just kidding. :D I noticed many people here change way more than I do... I should be less lazy on these water changes. :evil_lol: I typically do 25-40% per week.
I was wondering is this guy serious  And the sistern is a good idea! Maybe while your at it you can do an automatic water changer :) Bet that would be well appreciated. All my water goes out to the back yard as of today I set up one of those irrigation hoses to my gravel vac it makes a good siphon(once started that part is a PITA for a home made but it waters some plants too. Got me thinking about the waste. Our water is flat rate here. We pay an arm and a leg for water that the city hall admits to seeing 26 ppm nitrate in regularly.

As far as conserving the water, I pump the old water out the window into the back yard when I do a water change. I guess it is up to my dirt and weeds to recycle it from there.

50-60% in my 55 and 75 normally sunday afternoon

I do about 70% a week in a 10gal. I break it up.
10% twice weekly and about a 50% change when i gravel vac.

I do 25% on my 29 and do a full water change for my 2.5
I always do my water changes on saturday every week

20g - 60% weekly

5g - 40-50% weekly

2.5g - 50% rarely...there's only a small female betta in there and it's heavily planted+over filtered, and it has a deep sand bed. =) my clearest and cleanest tank. The water is so clear you can only tell it's water because it's moving.

I fill up a 5 gallon bucket every few days from each of my tanks, a 20, 29, and 55
Care to be more specific ? Do you vacuum ? ?

25% every two weeks....

44 gal
