This filter will be for my 15 Gal Tall tank to replace the Eclipse Hood. The specs for this filter say it is good up to 65 gallons. Is this going to be to much current in a tall tank?

I have one of these on my 18g hex. The sponge I have on the intake slows the flow a bit, but they dont really get what they are rated for. Well, mine is a few years old and bought used, so I dont know how a new one would work.

The amount of flow acceptable should always be considered with tank inhabitants too.

I have it on 20g tank. Other than right in front of the spray bar, fishes have no problem swimming against the current. This is the first time I put this baby on anything smaller than 33g though and I was surprised that I didn't end up with a whirlpool.

What are the occupants of the tank?
I have some Harlequin Rasbora's, Cories, and Zebra Danios. The tank is tall and I will be using the spraybar.

sounds like you should be ok. If the flow is too much put a sponge on the intake to reduce the flow or adjust the valves. i love mine, they are soo quiet.

Drill extra holes in the spray bar it adds a little more flow and stops the fire hydrant effect. I use an 1/8" metal/wood drill bit.

Why don't you try it out first. If the current is fine for the fishes you have, then no worries. If too much then you can go with what tcar suggested. 2213 has surprisingly low flow rate given its filtering capacity...
