marbled crayfish

They're super cute and charming, I've never had a fish eating issue, even with my lazy Brochis Splendens who lie around after they eat and who sleep dangerously close to Casa del Cray. They are voracious plant eaters, gobbled up the java moss and fern and I was stupid enough to leave in there (methinks they would like the greens my tortoise doesn't eat fast enough before it goes bad =D) and despite all the menacing claw waving and dirty looks, I have yet to get pinched. Pretty good choice of cray if you have something you can feed the babies to.

Are you serious here?? No dissrespect, but, if your too lazy to read, why should we do everything for you? Afterall, its you who wants this critter....My suggestion would be to help yourself, and learn something, rather than sitting back and letting others do everything for you..This creates a better learning / understanding process..

Just an opinion of course ;)

I wanted personal experiences over basic instrctions or the history of the crayfish, also it doesn't look like you are too busy to answer or not answer so your opinion is not need, but thanks for the responses of the experienced ones all are appriciated!

also I understand they like to eat snails, has anyone had any experience with a cray with snails?

I've kept them with larger snails (mystery) intentionally, and never had an issue and with smaller snails (ramshorn) unintentionally, and also never had an issue. However, smaller snails (and shrimp) COULD (and have on occasion with certain keepers) fall prey to a hungry Marmorkreb. It's just likely to not occur on the same level or with the same regularity that it would with other cray species.
