Is there any particular way that one should go about trimming moss attached to driftwood?
I've always had bad experiences with trimming plants (they tend to wilt or grow in some strange direction or something else odd).
What I'm trying to get is that groomed / organized look for the moss (e.g. growing in the same direction). In certain spots it's doing that but in others it's just gotten overgrown.
I guess what I'm asking is where should I be trimming. If I trim at just the ends will it become a mess? Should I be trimming down at the base of the fronds (like near where they are attached the wood)?
thanks
