I am about to snap.
I am losing my job next week, been looking for a new one since Christmas with no luck.
My bank hates me, they want all my money and wont give me a break, I keep getting hit with fees and other BS so bad that I am broke at payday. My account is in the red after my check gets direct deposited.

I tried to sell off some of my junk, but nobody's buying. I thought it was worth something, but Joe public thinks otherwise.

I just figured out my taxes and it looks like I am deeper in debt than I thought. Now I have to set up a payment plan just to pay taxes...

I've never been this broke, never had such a hard time just to get by. I havent had any frozen bloodworms for the fish in 2 weeks.. I put my truck on ebay...this sucks.. Its pretty bad that I dont even have $1.25 for a mountain dew. Cant remember the last time I had a beer either.

So if I suddenly dissappear from the site, I probably sold my computer, or sold blood till I passed out or something. Ok, Gotta go back to my corner, its getting dark now.. Later..

sorry your having a rough time... I am with you

hang in there-- things will turn around as they always do

Man, I'm SO sorry.

These are some crappy financial times we're living in now. And the banks are horrible!
I wish you luck in your job hunt - what kind of work do you do?

I was the material manager in a manufacturing plant, then I was a buyer for a while.. I have operated forklifts for about 15 years..

I can do many different things, but nobody is hiring here, except for nurshig jobs.

I guess that it hasn't helped your situation that so many companies are out sourcing their manufacturing to other countries.

What about going back to school? (You could get a nursing degree :)). I teach so the first thing I always think about is getting more education.

I have been trying for about a year to get my Microsoft Certifications, but dont have the $7000 for the classes.
I was trying to get a grant since I was unemployed for about 4 months, and that didnt pan out, I was just declined for a sally mae loan since the economy is crap...

I dont want to be a nurse.. my bedside manner sucks..

I'm not doing much better.. been filling out applications for some time now. Seeing how things are going nowadays, I'll probably be jobhunting and jobhopping for the foreseeable future.

Yikes - $7000. I hadn't realized that Sallie Mae has started turning students down!

Well, at least you're not wasting money trying to win the lottery, eh?

Dammit, why can't I win the lottery?!?
