AquAdvisor - software to help you stock your tanks!

do you know how frickin' hard it is to get wikipedia to tell you what level of your tank the *@#% fish will swim in??? lol

Yea I got it working finally. I can't input my own measurements for the tank though. I'm forced to choose one of the presets

eh, like all other research projects, it's a good place to find links to better resources lol

also, i found another spelling error... "white cloud mountail minnow"... and when i try stocking white clouds with fish that prefer higher temps, there's no warning that white clouds are happier in cooler waters than the other fish require- was this omitted for a reason?

I know its not much help, but I've heard that shrimp are negligible to the bio-load...

And that snails are like half of an equivalent sized fish,

And that frogs are the same as fish/ a bit more than fish on the bioload.

I couldn't put numbers for the tank measurememts using the numbers on the far right of the keyboard (the ones you have to push "num lock" for...I know there's a technical name for those, can't remember it right now). I was able to do it using the regular numbers though, and I was able to use the "num lock" numbers for inputting the number of fish.

Interesting. I honestly didn't try the top row of number keys, only the numpad keys :headshake2:

it installed for me fine - but I already have .net
Sweet program. Fun to play with. It doesn't have rainbowfish or frogs - I want both :)
The aggression levels of some fish I looked at have been spot on from what I have read. What resource(s) are you using to fill your data?

I would also like top/middle/bottom swimming and a warning if one zone is too crowded.
