AquAdvisor - software to help you stock your tanks!

I couldn't put numbers for the tank measurememts using the numbers on the far right of the keyboard (the ones you have to push "num lock" for...I know there's a technical name for those, can't remember it right now). I was able to do it using the regular numbers though, and I was able to use the "num lock" numbers for inputting the number of fish.

I see. I intentionally caught keyboard events and only let numerical keyboard presses in. So anything not numeric should not be typable (is that a word?) in those fields.

it installed for me fine - but I already have .net
Sweet program. Fun to play with. It doesn't have rainbowfish or frogs - I want both :)
The aggression levels of some fish I looked at have been spot on from what I have read. What resource(s) are you using to fill your data?

I would also like top/middle/bottom swimming and a warning if one zone is too crowded.

Rainbow fishes will be in. Frogs, I'm going to find out more details soon. Aggressions are actually more complicated - I have 4 different aggression attributes per fish now. Aggression within species (or similar), against other species, during breeding and ability to defend against other species' aggressions. I had to add the last one because some species are peaceful but no problem dealing with aggression from other more aggressive species.

Sources come from multiple places - a single source alone appears to be incomplete in order for me to collect all attributes in most cases.

What a neat program, kudos. Would it be a possibility to add an option for filtration next to the tank size option? Something simple as GPH via canister or HOB would be helpful. I assume that when I type in the dimensions for an 84 gallon tank and I can stock it with 90+ fish that there is a lot of filtration going on.

This is in my plans. Unfortunately you cannot go by a simple GPH number as different filters from different manufacturers use different technique to achieve bio-filtration capacity. If you only go by GPH only, Rena filters will always win over Eheim, as an example. So I will have to look at each filter and determine the realistic capacity - not too dissimilar from how I handle each fish species.

Some more fish that are in my girlfriends 12 gallon that aren't mentioned in the last version;

Golden Killifish
Lampeye Killifish
Indian Glassfish
