Stocking suggestions for a 3 gallon?

I advise you don't put anything that likes to school and patrol in there, no matter the size. 12" is a terribly small space. Why don't you go to your local Walmart, petsmart, or any such places, and take one of the bettas, male or female, out of the cup and give them a nice new home.

If you're really interested in the dwarf rasboras, it sounds like a good excuse for a new 10 gallon ;)

I have the 3 gallon Eclipse for sometime now. I have in mine 1 male betta and cherry shrimp with live plants. I've had my male for over 2 years now and he doesn't bother the cherry shrimp but it is a risk that the betta may eat them. I knew it was a gamble when I got the shrimp a couple of weeks ago but all seems fine for now. Maybe he's too old to care. ;)

Me too! They are so helpful :) I like just looking through and reading them even if I don't have those sized tanks :lipssealedsmilie:
