+1I wish I would run into a PETA protest in person.. I'm tired of hearing about it on the news. I wanna be that crazy guy they write about in the article that made a HUGE public mockery of them in front of everyone.
i'll help you!

The problem with Peta (or any other extremist group out there) is that they believe that animals should roam free... All animals... this includes dogs as pets, cats, fish, and anything else.
no animals for medical testing, none for food.... According to Peta, no one should be allowed to own a pet, even if you're giving it great care. All of us, who do our best to give our fish a healthy and enjoyable environment, in PETA's eyes, are wrong in keeping fish all together.
that being said, they don't have any interest in finding good homes for the animals they "save"...
That's just an obsurd idea to try to make the world believe.
In Virginia, PETA takes the notion of killing with kindness literally: only seven animals found a home out of the 2,216 it cared for in 2008. Seven animals managed a reprieve; the rest were loved to death. From the blog PETA Kills Animals:
When I first heard this it just destroyed me.
I took in a dog and housed it in a neighbor's yard, with their consent, of course, until I could either find the original owner or a new one, and some do-gooder down the road came into the yard, drug her out with a slip lead, and took her to Peta. Lovely to hear she went to her death... And well as all of the cats and dogs he's taken to them. I tried to get her back, but they argued that she was "too aggressive from abuse" and was euthanized already, after being there for 3 hours :screwy:
Funny, as when I had her, she showed NO signs at all, she was a GORGEOUS pure bred black lab female, spayed, had a collar, allowed you to stick your hand into her food, hug her, pull her ears, play rough- in short, she was the perfect family dog, and very young.
Peta kills more animals than any animal abuser, pit bull fighter, and at least factories kill the animals to feed us, no, Peta kills them and dump the bodies.
I've even read that they go to shelters as "rescues" and load animal into their van to be euthanized, then into the dumpster they go.
