after all is said and done, you cant blame anybody for a suicide. its a personal choice that you make on your own accord.

I very much agree with this statement.
What's so sad is that teens have such little real life experience. They don't know the power of making their own choices and thus they are often unable to see beyond the control that others have over them. They often don't have a sense that they can change their situation when they have the power to do so (when they are consenting adults).
I have some mixed feelings here.... I agree that it is a parents responsibility to make sure their son is in a good environment-- and that they probably dont have grounds to sue... especially 2 years later
BUT.. I also think that school should crack down more on bullying.. there should be a no-tolerance rule when it comes to harrasment and I believe that a second offense of this type should lead to immediate expulsion
now.. it is the KIDS own fault he shot himself... he pulled the trigger not the bully
and at that age he should have more sense than to think that shooting ones self is EVER the answer to anything... but I do agree that schools need to do more at the same time
