It’s an acronym for “Switching Current Water Director” (Squid). What it does is continually switch back and forth between the two exit ports producing a wave effect in your tank

Well yes actually I am about to make a new thread for my build. I scored a bunch of new stuff, so instead of two 10s for my sump, I have one 25 ish, and I'm gonna use the 10s glass to build it.
