i think there has been an outbreak of hole in the head in our tank. a bn pleco had a spot on its head that looked like a bite wound almost. then sort of pimple looking and then i thought it was healing. the "scab" fell off and left a small but gaping hole into the head of the poor fish. during this time our female ram was stricken with what looked like a bite which turned to a bubble over her eye within a couple of days. she died soon after. no one lost any color or appetite. water parameters show great. 0 amm, 0 nitrite, 7.0-7.2 ph, 10 nitrate...i don't know hardness. we use liquid test drops. temp is 75-78. lfs sold me an API general cure but did not know if it was safe for inverts...does anyone know? does this sound like HITH? i am on the way to work and will post pics later...
