Driftwood

The only problem with Ohio River driftwood will be getting it to sink. I prefer Malaysian or Mopani wood because they're so dense even small pieces won't float. I picked up a flat piece of river wood from e-bay a few weeks ago. It makes a great wood cave for my pleco's, but I had to use 2 rocks nearly the same size (together) as the wood to hold it down. I tried soaking it in another tank for a couple weeks but it still floated, with part completely out of the water.

Oh, thanks for the info, I probably won't get it then, thanks!

eh, you could always pop a piece of slate under it. I get rather impatient :D Or you can get different wood. There are some people that sell wood on here, for very reasonable prices. You can show them a pic of this one, if it's the style you want, and they could see if they have one similar to it :)

I also love those aquascapes
