I've been applying for World Cup and European Championship tickets now for 11 years and have never been successful.

Today...I found out I will be going to South Africa in 2010 for the World Cup. OMG. It will be the first World Cup in Africa.

I know most on here are American, but just wondering if anyone else applied or plans on going?

USA aren't a bad team these days you know :)

Shame about Arsenal and Chelsea recently. Still- I wouldn't put it past Man Utd losing a couple before seasons end- so we could still win the Prem even if it is a small chance.

Sweet mate.

Yeah, shame about Arsenal and Chelsea but the general feeling here is that those matches were almost as good as victories in the spirit and fight that we shOwed. Well, less so Arsenal match but certainly the Chelsea game.

Hopefully United will slip up.

Yes, the squad has definately shown the right attitude- something that was very lacking last year. If we can fight to the bitter end to scrape out draws against Arsenal and Chelsea- it makes me confident we CAN win our remaining games against lesser opposition.

United have looked shakey at times the last 6 months. Obviously a very strong team- but they are prone to make mistakes... there is still a small chance for us.


Anyhow enjoy the world cup. If Liverpool win the Prem next month I'll be doubly jealous of you being back home when we finally win AND getting to see the WC in a few years.

Gotta stick with my roots.

I hope it is an experience to remember. My bank account will certainly remember. Can't afford it, but I will sell my soul for the World Cup. I have a Paypal account if anyone wants to make a donation. PM me for details, hahaha. :evil_lol:
 
What does international postage cost on shipping a soul these days?

Is weight the sole factor? I imagine the postage would be hell to pay!
