To be honest though, they do only work for the heavy root feeders. So unless you have some (crypts, swords especially) there's no real use, at least IME.

I use the Seachem Flourish tabs for my swords/crypts and LOVE them. Use them sparingly or you will get problems just like any other product. I like them way better than the API products though. They don't fall apart like the API tabs and I just have better results with the Flourish.
i would if i could find them around here we have all of the other florish sechem stuf except the tabs.

i use and recommend the pfertz root tabs. cant hurt to try. i noticed immense growth in all my plants with these. i also use their liquid line.
That's exactly what I use. I have been using their squirt bottles for some time now and ordered 2 tins of root tabs about 3 weeks ago. I have used one tin already - mostly on the 150, but a few in the 45 as well. I can already see a difference.
