But here they are. Here are some pictures of my African Cichlid tank. The tank is 55 gallons. My Sun Catfish wouldn't come out of hiding so I couldn't get a picture of him. Sorry the quality isn't so great, I'm using my boyfriend's old laptop and can't use the USB port so I took them with my cell phone and texted them to my email.

If anyone can id the fish in the first picture, second picture, and the next to the last I'd love it. The second one is a female and the next to last is a male, same breed.

Nice tank and fishes!

Yellowish fish with black stripes looks like Melanochromis auratus. Blueish fish with red fins looks like the Ice Blue Zebra (Metriaclima greshakei).

You really think so? I worry that I need to add more rocks and hiding places.

A few more rocks on the tank's left side would be great. But don't get that pile as high as the other one to keep an uneven and more natural look.

Thank you. I still need an ID on the center fish in the top photo. It looks like a mix breed to me, but these are my first Africans. The store sold it to me as a Yellow Lab, which was on sale, so that was a good thing I guess, lol.

The orange fish? I don't think it is a yellow lab; it looks like a mix breed to me, as well.

This fish.
