i went for some salty stuff and seen these tiny little guys at 2.47@ and had to have them,
not sure where they will go but they are in my famous utz cheese balls barrel qt tank, getting dewormed and antibiotic treatment,. just cause they looked like they could use it,. the one i didn't get was really wormy looking and not the same size as these, so something is up,..

i have a 100gal water trough for them outside,.. till i decide where i want to put a pond,..lol

here is a few pics and some of my current fantails and my 2 commets babies from my goldies that passed last fall,. they were in my horse trough and just tiny specks when i brought them in for the winter,.

do they look like they are stunted, after i got them home and looked they have way big eyes,. they are just about2-3 inches nose to end of tailfin

i've never had Shubunkins before, but i love them, these are realy neat coloring but probable not good for those that show or know better,.. but i like them,

boy my computer is going wacky my letters keep changing size,..lol

Their eyes do look a bit big and may be stunted a bit but I do not believe these are permanently stunted. They still have a potential to reach 8 inches and over.

I don't know if they are stunted or just malnourished. I imagine they will fill out nicely if given time and food. I generally use my QT tank as a fattening up period. I feed 3-4 times a day (generally too much) during this period. The last set I did this with eighteen months ago each grew 1/2 inch in two months. The female Shub I'm pretty sure doubled in mass as well. Of course I ended up having to do 80% water changes 3 times a week. Goldfish are little piggies.

BTW I like your sarasa. I've always had a soft spot for them. I've got a 18 month old female out of the mention set in my tank now that is looking pretty good.

thanks the 2 comets are siblings dad was mostly white and long finned, and mom was like the gold one,. just a white tail. they (parents) were bought at lfs as feeders, mostly long tailed ones? red/white mine the baby is dark orange/ white dad was really red,.
but lost them to something got in the water outside and they both went bellie up next morning,. i dumped the water out of the horse trough they were in in case the horse got sice, and out run the 2 babies, so tiny just the size of my thumb nail,..got small hands, lol and i picked them out of the dirt and ploped them in the other tank and let them go till fall and then brought them in,..lol i hated to lose their father , his tail fin was over 8 inches long,..he was very pretty,..
