Mafia #51 - Mafia Citizens - The Play

So many votes on her? There were only 4...and still a handful of people left to vote (inluding Kashta).

I tend to agree with this.

I will admit I did not vote for Kash or Zigman yesterday because of the trains. I did believe and still do that there was some mucs involved with those votes. I have seen it happen too many times before. Someone makes some little mistake that the other side jumps on and blows way outta porportion and gets everyone to blindly follow along. Look what happened! We lost a citizen yesterday because of it. People have yet to convice me without a doubt that Kash is one of the mucs. If you are still going by the pm theory on her, she could be a wise guy or don. Why would I want to vote out a wiseguy (or don)? That would just be handing the game to the mucs, pretty much like we did last night.

I am not saying I completely rule out voting against Kash. I am just saying I need
more convincing and a little more evidence than just one post on day one.

Now the ones who have set off my spidey senses are Coler and RB. It seemed pretty blantly obvious to me that there was something going on there. Will be watching those two a little more closely today.

In bold one - see Mads post quoted above which I do broadly agree with.

tRS, how can you go from starting your statement of "we got to get rid of Coler or RB" to voting to take out Kash? Also, you say after tonight, Kash seems even more to scream out scum (which is mucs this game), what would make you say that, I am interested in your reasoning.

Plant, gotta tell you, this explanation looks nutty.... do you honestly think that if you were in the same position, you would do something different, whether mucs or townie? I don't think so... the bottom line is you made a last ditch effort at the worst time possible and lost to the bala clock..... and that makes you look way more suspicious. What you are saying here is you were trying to in a last ditch effort, to change the result of the vote... why vote one way earlier if you were so sure of kash being mucs?

Yeah...bigstyle...and then use the fact of other people not voting for Kash as a reason to suspect them ? Plus the earlier statement of 'I would vote for Kash but I am not needed to'. I still think maybe the two minutes too late vote for Kash was quite possibly a planned move.

I didn't vote for Kashta because I didn't see her early "slips" as indicative that she was a Rebel. They may mean she got a PM, but there are many Pro-town roles that got PMs. I certainly think if she got a PM that makes her a person of interest but at this time I am not picking up the PR vibe I tend to get (although I usually get the sides wrong, hehe). I did not vote Zig because I didn't see Zig as a strong suspect and I was not online when all the last minute business went down, I can't say what I would have done if I was here then to watch it happen live.

I just want to say my vote for Rbishop was not really last minute in my view. Plantling in many ways made a real last minute move as noted above. I am trying to be objective about it but feel it is fair to highlight the two very plausible possibilities one of which is that it was genuine failed effort to vote Kashta, one of which is that it was a stunt.

This entire post makes abolutely zero sense. Both Coler and Rb are more than experienced enough to not be so direct in addressing each other if they were on the same team, unless they are pulling some of that Princess Bride, the wine in front of me business, but that never works out well. Also, to accuse them of cheating takes some big stones... Welcome officially to "The List(TM)" Offer not valid in Mexico or Puerto Rico.
The accusation of cheating is utterly brainless - I know I wouldn't and I actually also know bob wouldn't, as do I think anyone who played with me or rb before.

Sure it looks like a save for Kashta, but why throw it all out there on Day 1? Even if Kashta was the Don or Rebel (as it could be a Pro or Anti Town save) that would be a hugely noob mistake to expose three PRs so early.

Ha, here we go again with the Rb and Coler communicating business. I just don't think they would be so silly, maybe I'm having the wool pulled over my eyes, and I know Rb plays it loose, but come on. Also, nice swipe at me for your first post, do you really think I'm Mucus (or whatever the kids are calling Rebels these days, or are you just being arguementative?

Yes, broadly tend to agree again - and I absolutely confirm that I have rbishop as a very viable candidate for my vote this nightfall, in response to this bs that we are communicating as a team etc.

Ok caught up I believe, my Short List is Plantling, Red, Maverick, and CJ (The last two being because they are mighty quiet) These aren't in an order really but Plant and Red are certainly more strongly based than Mav or CJ.

To get a vote out there: I vote to lynch Red (TRS)

I of course have plantling on my list. I did say earlier there is a real risk of missing quiet rebels in the fallout from D1 so I appreciate you're looking at Maverick and CJ. While I don't have them on radar I do not discount them. TRS was certainly in consideration by me for a vote yesterday.

I would like to know what you think of rb ZS.

I am going back to re-read Mad's very lengthy post as I think it makes out the case against Kashta very well, based on her own posts.

I meant to address the second bolded bit of Luvbugz post as 'in bold two' at the top of my last post - watch away; I would be delighted for rbishop to come under some proper scrutiny, and feel very free to put me under a microscope.

Maybe so, it just seemed weird the order of the events, the Mist blocks the Town from searching Ice, then it clears and he is a Rich Citizen. I could be reading too much into it.

I know I picked up on that too, but didn't know what to make of it.

Also in mentioning TRS was in consideration for a vote by me yesterday, I don't mean to imply that they have in anyway convinced me of being pro-town. They are a solid suspect/vote based on their own conduct in the game and on the interaction with Kashta.

1. Ice is killed by the rebels by being stuffed with $1 poker chips
2. Mist appears
3. Stranger (mostlycichlids) appears
4. Mist disappears
5. Ice ID'd as rich citizen (presumably due to the fact he was stuffed with so many chips in point 1 above).

Pretty sure that you're trying to read too much into it.

In response to your question Coler, I can never read Bob. Never been good at it, and he purposely keeps himself all over the place so that others can't keep up with where he is in the grand scheme of things. I don't like the throw-away votes he made yesterday, but I know some people resign themselves to getting nothing useful from Day 1. I tend to think every post matters no matter how flaky or off topic it is, thus the reason I ask silly questions of people sometimes.

So far this is what i got as a list

Possible rebel scum
TRS-supposed joke vote for kash, then makes a statement about her playing differently, although the game just started. screws up a vote for coler, then finally leaves a vote on kash. I think he blew a joke between him and his rebel scum friend kash.

This bugs me a lot. If I was on a team with her, why would I start the bandwagon and try to get people to vote for her? Why would I try to lynch her and not change my vote. Why would I vote for her again? I can answer all the questions for you, she is SCUM. Are you scum too? I think so.

What did you have to go on Red in the first hour that made you think Kash was mucs? You admit to starting this train, so what is it that you saw?
You also now are saying you didn't change your vote which infact you did (or at least tried). You tried to change to Coler but messed up the wording so defaulted to your original vote for Kash.
This whole thing almost looks like TRS had a personal vedetta against Kash from last game. Jumps to vote for her first thing. Tries to play it off as a joke. Fakes a switch. In the meanwhile, his buddies jump all over Kash for not playing like she did last game (difference in play style must mean she is guilty of something is their reasoning and nit pick some wording in her posts. The same people that went after her yesterday are going after her again today. Is anyone else seeing what I am seeing?
