I have heard that killifish are great in communities, and I've heard they'll eat every thing. I'm a little confused. I've been considering a lyretail pair for my 20, but would they be okay with neons and kuhlis??

I have (4) Gardneri Killifish along with (4) penguin tetras and one molly, they seem to get along just fine. Although I have noticed that someone is eating my mico 4leaf clovers...hmmm wonder if its them...or maybe its the mystery snails...imo they are community..

the term killifish covers a large range of fish. some are very small, while others can actually be relatively large, for killifish. saying that because one killifish can coexsist with others does not in any way suggest that another species will as well.

keep in mind that killifish can eat surprisingly large food.

If your plants may be dying or dead, the mystery snails will obviously eat them otherwise they shouldn't.

I have a pair of Killi's in my community and they don't nip or bother the tetras or rasboras at all. Don't even bother the cherry shrimp or dwarf crays.

The cherry shrimp is berried so I'm just waiting to see if they go after the babies. Hope not, but we shall see.
