My newest psuedacanthicus

Howdy Wingate! I decided to come over here to give and receive advice on my not so monsterous fish (ie apistos, otos, corys). Nice to see some other members cross over! Btw is it a L25?

Nice colors, What tank mates do you have in there?
It is in a growout 55 gallon with 2 NTT datnoides, pike cichlid, L-091(three beacon pleco), 4 giant danios, and 1 severum.

Awesome!!!

Thanks!!!

Very nice psueda always liked these pleco's but get to big for me to house. Nice find and good camera skills by your wife.

Thank you. I have another pushing 11" and when I found this one I could'nt pass it up. Here's some pics of the other one:

No, I believe it is an L-600, Psuedacanthicus Leopardus. Very similiar to L-114, Psuedacanthicus cf. Leopardus. L-114 stays smaller and there are a few differences in appearances. Some debate if they are in fact the same fish. I have not gotten that far in depth with my research on this species to come to my own conclusion on that topic though. But I can say most characteristics point to what others call an L-600. I have an L-114 juvie and IMO they vary greatly in appearance.

The ram that is in the last pic is no longer in there. We had it in there temporarily.

Even though this came out a little dark, I really like this shot.

The the smaller spots/lack of spots on the face is supposed to be another sign indicating that it is an L-600.

A pic of an L-114 juvie. Notice the difference in patterns.

I wouldnt know the diff between your plecos now pterygoplichthys I could normally identify pretty easily. All your fish are very nice I wish I had some. What are the max size on these. I remember looking them up and seeing they were to big for me but dont remember the exact size.

OMG! it is gorgeous! Can I have it? LOL

The L-114s supposedly max out around 11"TL. The L-600 apparently around 16" or so. I'll let ya know for sure in a few years.:)

Yeah sure, I have two why not!lol YOUR CRAZY!!!!!LOL

L600 thats neat! Yeah I must admit I'm not a great pleco IDer, thus why I generally dont even try. I really love the close ups on the scales, they look like little spear heads!
