Alright here's what i got. I bought an Eheim co2 injection kit a couple days ago. It came with a diffuser, tubing, needle valve, pressure guage, everything i should need for pressurized co2 except for a co2 tank. Ok....so I bought a filled co2 tank online and finally got it yesterday. I went to hook everything up and noticed the pressure guage won't fit on the co2 tank right. The pressure guage threaded area has a large allen fitting inside it. When I go to thread on the pressure guage the large allen thing won't fit inside the threaded area on the tank properly. It's obvious there is something wrong. Is there always a problem getting these Eheim pressure guages to fit onto co2 tanks, is there some kind of adapter? Here are some pictures so you can see what I am talking about.

so in the last two pictures you can see it pretty good. The last picture you can see there is a threaded area in the center of the threads on the co2 tank. My pressure guage has an allen fitting in the middle of it. That allen fitting is too wide to fit in that tiny threaded area on the co2 tank. So when the two of them match up, it will only allow me to get about 1 and a half threads tight, which is not enough. I know there is something wrong here so I am waiting until someone can let me know what I can do. Is there something with Eheim being European that won't allow it to fit up on an American thread co2 tank? Or can I just take out the allen fitting? Or is there some kind of adapter. Ug this sucks.

i dont like the way to looks. you think that they would make it so that it would wrench tighten instead of just hand tighten. do you have a link to a site that we could look at?
