29g Angelfish Tank

Those are nice angelfish. Are you breeding them to obtain a certain morph or just for fun?

i'd recommend a raphael catfish to go with them. i love them. :]

Great looking angels!
Thank you. :)

Well... Both. lol

I do like Raphaels... That's a good idea actually. They're one of the few catfishes I actually like instead of just "don't mind."

Thanks... We'll see. :D

Nice angels!
Thanks.

I have a pair of whiptail cats with mine.

Nice looking angels! I have a pair in a 29G as well and keep a single ABN pleco with them. Never seen them bother the pleco, might be an option to keep in mind.

If I were you though I would add either some broad leaved plants, or some slate, otherwise you might find they lay eggs on the filter intake/heater as it looks like they don't have many other options.

Thanks guys.

You can see a slab of slate in the lower right side of the tank (although it was knocked over when I took these pics). They have options. So far, they just seem to be sticking with the intake tube...

I see it now, thought I saw something there in the first pic but could not make out what it was. At least if yours are laying eggs on the intake tube they are laying eggs, my pair are more intent on beating each other up lately!

Thanks... Yeah, they still like to pick on each other once in a while, but nothing really to note.

There are some eggs right now that have been there for about 40 hours.... I'm hoping this will be the first successful spawn.

Silver x Gold Crown Marble may look pretty cool.

I love the Raphael Cats man. I would say go for one of those in your 29 but i don't know if they get to large for that tank. Good Luck with the breed, keep the pics coming.
