diy co2 doesnt really work well with glass diffusers, ive tried it, its a total headache
wooden airstones are much better.
glass diffusers need more pressure than diy can provide consistantly
Thanks for the advice. I am wanting to give it a try and if it doesn't work then I wil clean and resell the diffuser.

i have one, it has an integrated glass check valve...um...i got it at drsfostersmith.com but for some reason my work blocks that site...but no other site?? strange because an errant misspelling has landed me on a 'not so work friendly website' before that wasnt blocked. long story short, i cant get much info about it right now.

here is all i got on it:
Glass CO2 Diffuser4-3/4" w/check-valve
Brand: Aqua Euro (i think)
Drsfostersmith had it for sale on their site (Part# CD-35635) but it is no longer available (last time i was able to check). Retailed for: $17.00 How about $10.00 + shipping (probably 4 bucks or so depending on how fast you want it)

FYI, I use a glass diffuser with DIY Co2 and it works fine.

how much solution are you using? i used two two liter bottles and it still didnt work very well, once it was up and running it was fine but if the pressure ever dropped or if the tube popped off it was downhill from there, plus with my diffuser i got all this white slimeystuff (scientific name) that isnt a problem with the airstone

I use a big juice bottle, so its probably a similar amount as 2 x two liter bottles. It takes a while to get going, but once going I get about 2 weeks worth of bubbles coming out of the diffuser, and definitely notice the bubbles getting slower/fewer as the mix wears out.

Sorry to hijack OP.
