Pregnant Red Cherry Shrimp???????

i just looked at one of my rcs and he has this yellowish looking stuff inside right behind his head, and his hiding a lot inside a shell i have in the tank.

is it pregnant??

Thats a saddle, He is a She!!

the saddle is her reproductive organs begining to produce eggs.

If all goes well, soon she should be carrying the eggs in her tail section..

couple weeks. but they don't all disappear at once. they hatch off independently of one another. one day she will have 25 eggs in there, a few days later she'll have 15, etc.
