before first trimming.jpg
hello again
Hope I've done it right.
Did the first trimming yesterday and put the fish is.
It's nice to see so much life in the tank, they seem to like it.
there should be about 15 cherry shrimps (since yesterday) and ten darwin algae eating shrimps, but they seem to have disapeared. Every now and then you see one or two. One of the new shrimp is a red and white striped one. forgot his name...
Anyway. The trimming:
I've cut back the bacopa caroliniana, the limnophila sessiflora and the rotala wallichii.
And I've replanted the better top parts of the rotala macrandra and the didiplis .
Also added a bit of christmas moss to the top parts of the woods.
This is today:

Also changed the in and outlet tubes to glass ones.

Absolutely awesome!

:goldfish: That is a beautiful tank. I think you did it right.

Looks good!

Idk, I like the overgrown before pic better.

Yes, me too. I looked at the second picture three times because it looked so different! :) But I know, it will eventually grow out. It's crazy what a difference an simple trimming can make though. Great job! And beautiful betta....awww..Yoshi. ;)
