More Questions....Pls Be Gentle

I guess I will illustrate with a photo also. This is an example of a plecostomus attack against a goldfish (bristlenose plecos are not regulars at this, but it happens!!! It is not worth the risk!!!!)

Ok. Now I'm starting to question my decision on the goldfish. Perhaps I should go back to a community tank. :-(

Why?? Why do you only want goldies if you can't have other fish with them? You get more than enough varieties to make up for that!

I'm keeping a common pleco in my goldfish tank. I've decided I'm willing to accept the risk (with the understanding that I may regret it). It just seems to me that 99 of 100 discussions about plecos attacking goldies are based on "common knowledge", small grainy pictures, or a friend of a friend who had it happen. It stands to reason that its possible, but I'll take the odds. Rest assured, I'll report if an attack happens and produce some decent pictures for a thread sticky.

yeah, but don't you feed your fish like, constantly, (or am I confusing you with another AC member)? kinda tough for a fish to get hungry when it's always being fed...

I don't think I've been around here long enough to get a reputation for much of anything. Mine get fed twice a day -- you might be thinking of Lupin, who has mentioned feeding 4-5 times a day.

If you were referring to me, Tiffany, I do feed my fish multiple times a day but in small amounts, not heavily to the point my fish would bloat too much. They are young and still in their growing phase and I do not want to risk them stunted in the process hence this regimen.
