I'm as surprised as Kash to see that with this many players there isn't much posting going on. Maybe this vote thing has stifled the talk. Hopefully it will pick up. Maybe everyone is just busy.
I like the theories about the JM/luv vote but I'm guessing it was a mistake by JM. I'm not sure about Luv but it seems like typical play style. Too early to tell at this point.

Wow. Discussion has picked up finally since I left.
I guess I need to explain further my "being setup comment" since that seems to have been brought up alot.
I was reading through the thread this morning; all happy to have the game on again finally. I noticed that JM posted, but didn't put in a vote. Being my little hyper self, I quickly posted and captured his vote. Not two seconds after I hit submit, it dawned on me that his forgetting to vote might have been intentional. I mean, wouldn't it be a great mafia ploy to accidently forget to vote and then whomever claims their vote gets all the suspicious thrown at them?! I know JM is a good player. The whole vote thing was posted like a bazillion times in the sign up thread and on this thread. I didn't miss it.
I know the whole FD/JL thing has put me on edge. It never occurred to me until that game that people might intentionally setup other players. It worked beautifully in that game and everyone fell for it hook, line and sinker. It made me look at the game in a new light. I didn't want to get used so easily this time around.
Hopefully all that make sense and you can see where I am coming from. As far as whom I am going to vote for, I am unsure at this point. I am still leaning towards JM because it still looks like it was intentional to me. I just am not buying that it was a mistake. Could it have been? Yes, which is why I really need to think on this for a little bit.
Luvbugz... you've already made yourself look suspicious (whether you are or not). For Day 1, this has been way more significant than that "who likes what pizza toppings" fiasco from the previous game. With that already on your mind, why on earth would follow all that with this post too?
1. You've already answered the questions you've been asked about grabbing JM's vote. And most of us (who are posting) have already mentioned what an overreaction that was. So why come back to this all over again to dredge it back up and say... "I guess I need to explain further" ?? You already know how the more you keep explaining and re-explaining... the more suspcious (defensive?) it's going to make you look.

^^ I can say for a fact that is not a true statement. You and I played together on the mafia team in the game prior to the one you just referenced.... You definitely knew first-hand that players set each other up on purpose.. and why. You did it yourself when you were mafia and now try to claim this is something that never occured to you? No way.

Not really sure why someone claiming the vote would bring all the attention to them? I'd gladly take double the vote and if I'm around when someone screws up I'd jump at the chance.
What bothers me more is the fact that you keep defending yourself on it. Its to early for defense, if you are in fact innocent you need to be finding mafia to get the votes flowing that way and off you instead of pleading for votes to fall off you.

I could understand switching for a reason but he didn't give one for retracting and moving to FD.She hadn't posted between switches and it was actually only a total of 14 minutes between votes.
I retract my vote on Mav and vote to lynch Kash
Would also be willing to actually vote MC but Kash has said more that bothers me to this point and is more of a threat then MC.
I've got to agree with this, I see the possibility, but with 7 minutes between the non-vote and the pickup I don't think it's the case.
