Good Beginner Beer

I'd say go for a Corona with a lime. If you hate that, then (according to hubby) maybe you are a dark beer person and you'll like Guiness. I, too, did not like polenta. My current culinary endeavor, a la Hell's Kitchen, is a true risotto. Try #2 is upcoming, with high hopes :). Enjoy your beer!
 
I love beer. Bud Light is my choice. But the new Miller Chill with Lime is excellent too. If you've never had a beer or know an alcoholic, I understand the aversion. But, for me? I'll take it any day over Iced Tea.
 
I like the Dos Equis Amber.

with a lime wedge in a frosted mug. it actually is fairly light for an amber.

the lager lacks a bit in flavor.
 
I was deeply disturbed by some earlier posts-- most notably the ones suggesting that the current Yuengling supply was somehow of inferior quality. Rest assured, people--I have taken it on my shoulders. I tried several this evening and I am almost certain that it was the same Yuengling we remember and love. Never can be too sure, though. Second test pending... :)
