Wyyco, that first idea is a good call. It's very true. In past games, those few I got to play a mafia, I would do that and try to misdirect the townies as well. It rarely worked cause I'm a crummy bad guy, but oh well.
It still begs the question of why not Ice or even DD? No one was picking on them...
BTW: There are probably about 8 or so mafia scum. I haven't seen anything from JL about numbers. The usual ratio for a 'standard game' is about 25% mafia... more or less depending on how good the group is... less if the innocents aren't any good, more if they are good... and we've got a good group here.

I keep bringing it up because you fail to answer my questions. You continue to state how defensive or protective I am without one shred of evidence other than that one post of mine which I've already shown completely refutes what you are saying. I've asked you a few questions out front now but you have ignored them and play them off as unimportant. I keep bringing it up because you want this to go away...

I'm not desperate, I'm actually quite amused that you are making these ridiculous assumptions without anything behind them. I have no problem being in the spotlight when it's for trivial reasons.
Oh, my, gosh....I want to take a poll here...how many people seriously think I would try to protect a teammate day 1 or even at all? (not an actual question) Come on, I'm a better player than that.
Z was probably hit because he is a pretty good player that hadn't done much. That's how the mafia hits have gone IME.
I've always wanted to keep DD around because her playing style draws suspicion in most every game.
The debate why Ice isn't hit was brought up in 52...the reason we didn't hit him that game was because we figured his aggressiveness at times and the willingness of the town to sort of "follow his lead" would play to our advantage. It actually worked out to :grinyes:

I don't think I actually said you defended Luv. What I said was "I think Jpap is trying to calm everyone down before his teammate gets killed" or something very close to that (post 71).
OK, I've reread your post #52, Jpap. Yes, you did say that Luv's post was kinda scummy. Did you 'Defend' Luv? No, but then I never said you did (at least not immediately). Do I FEEL that you were trying to calm the rush on Luv? Yes.
Apparently, you are one of the few that does not feel Luvbugz is mafia.
Also, ice has not been playing like he has in previous games (time?, I don't know), but it kinda throws your theory out of the water, Jpap.
If Luv is not mafia, then I look to ice as mafia. If Luv is mafia, then I look to Jpap. I'm not sure how I feel about Rocker... I still think that MC could be mafia too.

Early on I noticed that JPap seemed to be defending you- the whole you vs Rocker thing seemed very suspicious- with JPap, and then several others joining in to try and shift the blame onto Rocker seemed to be a group effort.
There also seemed to be an effort later on when it turned into a Kashta Vs Luv affair to protect Luvbugz... Kashta turned out to be innocent. Jpap was seeming to side with Bugz and yourself... add that to the suspicons I already had about you made me think that the 3 of you were in on it together.
The rest of the people I have mentioned seemed to also at one point or another seem to be putting doubt on the above three's involvement in the mafia.
They could be innocents who truly believe that after following that path or reason... OR they could be mafia trying to protect you. That's why I say "4 or 5" of the following. I don't know which are and which arn't.
There is a good chance either yourself or Luvbugz will be lynched... in which case we'll know your mafia ties or innocence- IF one of you get lynched and turn out to be innocent that would make it seem very strongly like I myself would be a suspect for trying to group "innocents" together.
I'm willing to put myself on the line for that. I doubt a mafia member would do the same so strongly if they knew one were innocent.
Noodles is very clever- she always says "so and so" may be guilty, refering but then goes ahead and votes for someone else- as if she's trying to seem uncertain... yet she always ends up on the Zaffy/LuvBugs side of any discussion.
If I get taken out on a hit one night- and Zaffy or LuvBugz turns out to be mafia- I suggest that that be taken into account.
I am a newbie at this- but that doesn't mean I'm not paying attention!

Zaffy is a guy...not a girl! Get your facts straight. Trying to confuse people with this? Hmmmmmm! Maybe Rocker is deflecting attention from him/herself by "accidentally" calling Zaffy a girl. Hmmmmmm!
