Mafia #53.5 Rock the Vote

I probably have 5- but 2 of those votes have the ability to switch.

What I was saying is- I've kind of locked three of you into not being able to change your vote or you'd look very suspicious to do so.

So I'm going to get three votes minimum at end of day... Very likely I'll get more, but I still have a little hope one of the others might change who they vote for.

I disagree with your thinking. any player has the ability to switch their vote regardless of it looking suspicious.

Seriously... I'm so confident that he is mafia that if he is voted to be lynched and turns out to be innocent- I am willing to commit suicide in this game. (can I do that or is that against the rules?)

We can make it automatic so that the game narrator automates it and I can't back out if you don't trust me.

That should make it worth while for people shouldn't it? That way since most people think either I or he is mafia- if they vote for jpappy they're guaranteed to get one mafia member at days end.

Even if Pappy is innocent- one mafioso and one innocent out of the game statistically helps the innocent.

If you no longer wish to play, you PM the moderator and tell him so. Once you say it cannot be reversed. the rules are clearly outlined on page one of this thread...If you are mafia - please feel free to commit suicide! LOL But seriously, it is not the correct way to help whichever side you are on....some have had to do it in the past (myself included) due to real life issues but it is not good game play to do it "just to prove a point"....does that make sense?

Please don't do that. Mafia or Townie it is poor sportsmanship. Part of the fun of the game is not knowing and trying to find out.

Also, I don't know what to think of your pages of pleading. It's almost convincing for someone so new to the game. But, if you have a good coach.... *sigh*. I just don't know.

LOL... OK we won't do it then! Didn't mean it as "bad sportsmanship" as much as adding a little bit of fun to the game. Just checking what can and cannot be done. Thought it would be a fun little gamble... I figure Jpaps, Zaffy and Noodles could appreciate that- the mafia like to play poker don't they!

I certainly don't want to commit suicide for no reason- it would be much more fun to be lynched.

I just thought it would add an interesting twist to the game. I must admit- I find the prospect of being lynched strangely entertaining. I think to be honest- I'm in more of a kamikazee mode now- if I'm going down I just want to take as many mafia down with me as I can.

I can remember the time someone played this same exact scenerio, I forget who it was, maybe hooked? It was poor play then and is now and looks like a weak attempt to try to convince people not to vote for you. Problem is, it's practically begging me to switch my vote to you... where as pappy looks to have turned around to starting to prove himself helpful, you seem to have turned to look quite desperate....

I retract my vote for Pappy and vote to lynch Wycco

I go down at days end- it's likely game up for you and Paps... Zaffy may be safe because he's staying quiet- but I think with his connection to Paps once Paps is taken out he will be at risk.

Take some tome out of your incessant posting, go back and read the thread. Find some quotes to back up your linking of Jpappy and I. I think if you're going to keep on repeating our names together, which is a method used by dishonest people to build a false link among others, you should be obligated to back up your words. At the top of the thread there's a button to search the thread, you can go to advanced options and even filter out posts by name.

Also, I'm on the west coast, so my keeping quiet is actually sleeping.
