Snails do not change shells

Bladder Snails are quite animated when they're mating... all the twisting and twirling. I don't think I've witnessed the Ramshorns "doing it"- but baby ramshorns in the tank means they probably are.

The most boring snails for mating are the Spixis though... I must give the male spixi credit though- they have incredible stamina- their mating seems to last for ever although it lacks the athleticism of the bladder snails mating.

Bladder's live by the wham-bam-thank you mam philosophy whereas Spixis are 60 minute men.

Hopefully I'll catch the briggs at it soon.

I must be a Spixi then..

And I don't eat vegetables. There's this girl I know, her name is Marisa, if we ever make babies together, I'm sure they'd eat vegetables though. And smaller children.

Talking about snail sex... does anyone know where a Brigg's bum is? I see poop through my ivory's shell sometimes and it is nowhere near the foot.

I'm just curious since Sir Mix A-Lot made that song about snail arses: "I Love Brigg butts".

I was actually being silly trying to make an excuse to say "brigg butts"... but that is an interesting diagram... they have a long digestive tract inside their shell which must be why I see the long strands of poo through their shells sometimes.

Ah I see.. I Spixi'd mostly to make a Marisa hybrid joke anyways, so same here. But at least you have your "learn something new every day" covered for today.
