I am not a vegetarian/vegan, but I do think we should bring notice to the American diet and its consequences. Obesity is a major issue and people need to look in the mirror sometime, maybe this is shocking enough to make them do that.
Anyway, I think whales are lovely and intelligent creatures.

Oh god. I raged hard.
Also PETA is generally a huge pile a crocodile **** because you really don't need to give a flying **** about farm animals being slaughtered because they are BORN for being food and they are bred and farmed, just like how frogs and sharks are farmed for dissection. If we took those animals from the wild for our food, then we would be agreeing with PETA. However, they are far from endangered

I have to agree about the many overweight and morbidly obese that is prominent in the western countries. The problem is that PETA doesn't separate the medical afflicted from the crowd. They just make a blanket claim without due regard.

"Save the whales" is needed to stop the wanton slaughter of an endangered species by certain countries. Let's see them stand up and do something about that.
