i have a little golden mystery snail who got a little piece of java moss stuck on his shell and take root!! so now he goes cruisin aroung looking like my front lawn.and like my front lawn he gets mowed too!!! so whenever the moss gets too long i pull out my lawnmower(aka a pair of scissors) and give him a haircut!!!i was just wondering if this has happened to anybody else becuase i thought it was quite funny:lol:.

That's great! I had java moss growing on my heater for a while, I think it'll grow on almost anything.

:huh:sorry no pics,i have tried taking some and it doesn't matter if i enhance the lighting or dim it i just cant get a good pic,it comes out looking like a brown blob on a blue background.

I've heard of (and seen pics of) hair algae growing on them. Never moss before though.

that's just awesome! you should attach moss to all your snails and sell them to your lfs as a new species. they sure would do it to us!
