This strikes me as odd too... There is nothing that suggests JM couldn't have been LV from day one.

John could not have switch LV role to JM. The only way JohnL could have been lead vampire is if someone switched the role to him (Pappy as an example when Pappy was dying).

JohnL would have shown as innocent on day one were he the lead vampire on day one.

I suspect the vamps still have their lead vampire switch left- I had thought based on the fact that Rich looked very guilty- and him and Paps had a two-horse race- and John asked "can the lead vampire change" (knowing JL was a vampire) that that meant that he was playing it silly and that it had just changed- perhaps because Rich or JPap had been Lead.

Rich coming out innocent made me think that perhaps wasn't the case.


Annie's vote right after me is making me very nervous about my Zsand vote. My notes are at home and I don't know if I will be back in time for tonight. Crap. I really want to do a read on Annie now. I'll try to do this at lunch.

Annie makes me nervous too. The fact that earlier she posted an over the top compliment of me and has been so hard to read and said she would vote whoever I voted for makes me a little suspicious.

I know nothing more than anyone else at this point- I've said everything I know.

So that makes it unlikely she is a lead vampire. I think it unlikely, because she is new, that she would have already been picked as a lesser vampire- it's possible here on out she could be because she would be very valuable if asked... "just stay under the radar for us" especially if they still have the lead vampire switch option. I can't see her being one of the first picks for turning though.

Other than the risk of UD being an unknown new player I could see her as a turn candidate for all the reasons you outlined. The vamps need some heavy hitters to sway us Villagers (JPappy, JL) but they need some quiet sheep too for numbers. All those one off votes are just screaming "Look at me I don't want to be on anyone that actually gets lynched" Which is a new-player-as-Scum symptom IME.
 
So many possibilities, I am sure of me, Wy and kashta (mostly).

Assuming the ultra quiet ones are not vamps that still leaves a good number of possibilities. I am also not ready to concede the quiet ones as Annie makes me nervous.

Jm, and ZS are my top two, but a change is possible if something else comes up.

I could see Coler pulling the wool over our eyes with his ultra helpful posting today, which could mean nothing at all, though I dont really think so.

Lam who can say?

Zaffy I am thinking not, but no great reason for it.

After reading all this, I suck as a detective.

I will keep thinking on it.

I still have Zaffy as one of my main suspects. At this point I figure either Pappy or JL were the original LV and they passed it to someone else. Zaffy is a relatively new player, quiet but not lurking, that flies under the radar and is a low UD risk making them an ideal turn candidate and highly suspect for recieving the LVship if that role was vacated by one of our previous lynchees.

I vote to lynch Zaffy.

Now to prove it... Give me some time to pull posts.
 
Another point to make about the LV. I suspect that the original LV if not Pappy WAS a veteran player because that Lead Vampire picked both Pappy and JL- two people who from what I gather are highly respected veterans themselves.

That would tend to make us think that it is very likely at least one of the veterans is a vampire because they knew who to pick. It doesn't mean a relatively newcomer can't be lead vampire or a lesser vampire- but it makes it very likely a respected veteran is drinking blood.
 
How long have Rocker, Zaffy, ZSand, and JM been playing? I see Zaffy referred to as a relative newcomer- I also seem to recall someone saying that about Rocker.

I know Ogre and Coler have been playing a long time based on comments made.
 
i started at game 53, that one got cancled half way through, so i was pretty much starting in the last game with you wycco.
 
Crap, yeah, I forgot the LV shows as innocent rule on the first two days.

I have to agree with Kash, 24 hour days at this point may be too soon. I don't have any of my notes and voting records at work.

Annie:
Day 1 on Dawg (singleton vote)
Day 2 on Kash early, but final vote for noods
Day 3 last vote on Jpap (but I don't know when that vote occurred or what happened after that point)
