2 days ago I introduced a group of 20 cherry shrimp into my 20 gallon planted aquarium. Yesterday ( a day after they came from shipping) I did a head count, and all 20 were still alive. When I went to look at my aquarium today, I noticed that I only could find 4 remaining.

They were grazing on biofilm yesterday and had started to get their color back. I have a sponge over my filter and plenty of mosses for them to graze/hide in, yet I can't find the rest.

My tank is a 20 gallon long, with 0 Ammonia, 7.4 pH, 0 nitrite, no copper, and planted. Tank mates as MTS, Upside down catfish, cardinal tetras, and ramshorns.

I am sure the upside down cats loved your fancy expensive feast for them. LOL Sorry, maybe you will get lucky and they are just hiding.

Well, I did another head count, looks like I have 6! 1 adult and 2 juvies. Hopefully they can breed the next generation...

I have plenty of mosses and places for the shrimps to hide, so if they do breed, hopefully I'll get at least 4 or 5 new shrimp.

Upside down catfish probably
