Today I was in a pet store and I was looking at the Bettas out of habit and I saw this Half-moon Betta sitting in one of those little cups. I did not have a tank for him so I did not get him:(. He was blue-green and his fins were blue-green with white/transparent tips. I felt so bad knowing that I could not take him home and that he was probably going to be bought by someone who did not know how to take care of him and who was going to put him in a tiny, unfiltered bowl and who would not change the water very often:cry:. I have not been able to stop thinking about him since I walked out of the pet store.

Has anyone else had this kind of an experience? (your experience can be with any kind of fish fresh or saltwater not just Bettas)

Every baby honey gourami I've ever seen. They're just so cute and watching them mature is great fun.

Dario dario's! The first time i saw them they all died the next day and ive kept a tank running for some for half a year! And after the store got them again, they didnt look very good and they where like 15 dollars. But i finally got some via AC:D

Candycane Gobies.. I wanted them when I first saw them, did research for days, but concluded that $20 was just too much for a fish that lives only a year or so.

Candy cane gobies as in Trimma goby's? Hm. Didnt know they only lived for a year... You should try a hi fin banded goby :)

I meant Awaous flavus. Scientific name escaped me for a moment.

I'm pretty sure. I talked to knowledgeable people when I was researching this fish, I'm sure they're more trustworthy than a generic caresheet site.

I cant stop thinking about a chain pickeral I almost had about two years ago i was only two feet away from having it when the line broke.
