I lost track of this thread a long time ago, sorry for the move. Great work on everything. You should put a screen up there and fill it with birds. Then at least you can say you had a big giant bird room lol. But good luck with the house sale. Awesome build and it's even cooler that you could get so many friends together that supports you.

Too bad all that labor went to waste for a couple inches of plastic, I think I would have definitely opted for the manufactures offer to have the plastic trimmed locally vice wanting those couple of extra inches.

But with your Saturday dismantling your committed now. If you are familiar with the dismantling design perhaps you can rebuild the frame your self using the same structural design only larger to accommodate the plastic.

Its great to have skilled help but I never let that stop me if I have the materials and basic know how. Just build the new frame yourself. I know you can do it.:grinyes:

Ken pm'd me yesterday and let me know he's finishing up this week. It's not so much that I can't do it by myself, but Ken has been with me from the start and I wouldn't think of excluding him now. He's a great friend and has been a big help to me. Time is a small price to pay.

Also, when you're putting $1700 worth of plastic in a wall that is shared with your dining room that is going to have 15 tons of water behind it, you kind of want a second set of eyes on it.

I hate when I'm eating a nice peacefull dinner and a wall of plastic holding 15 tons of water next to my dining room breaks and gets me wet. It's a really bad experience!!!!

Great to see the build is back on- it was quite a shocker when you announced it off!

It all worked out. I found a major design flaw and will be fixing it with the rebuild. The highest pressure is at the bottom of the tank walls, so I'm building the front the same as the top with the 2x10s all the way across. Over-build for sure, but better safe than wet.
