Seems like the saga of nerites and I is never ending. For some reason, the F&W is saying there is a temporary ban on import of snails to the port of entry that I use. I have just re-applied for my fish and game import permits as well as the CITES permits (some species i import are listed on that list). Hopefully the broker can make this order work, but if not, it will likely be 3 months until I can even try again, sigh. Now note, there is NO federal limitation on their import, so this may be bypassable. Cross your fingers for me!
Fingers, toes, eyes....and what ever else I can think of! Man these imports seem to have become a real pain in the BEEP BEEP for you!

Will the green shrimp interbreed with red cherry, malawa or tiger shrimp?
Also will you be getting red nose soon? My mom liked them so much I had
to give them her. Would love to have some again, they are really cool.

The green will not interbreed with red cherry nor malawa but may with the tiger shrimp I believe. I don't know if I will be getting more rednose soon or not, depends on finances but I would like to. They are super cool especially once they color up in the tank! I will try and get them the next time I bring in more shrimp. I may try breeding them at some point I like them so much.
