Rescaped...opinions?

thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate it. I have grown to like it even more over the past few days. so glad i made the change.

the new look is great...where do buy these rock? and how much does it cost per lb? they shud be pretty heavy!

I got the rock at a local landscaping place here in tallahassee. I think it was 39 cents a pound... I'd say that I have 100-120 pounds of rock in there...

whats funny is I dont have any real territory battles as of yet. if i decide to add any more rock it will be later when my guys grow out some...

I like it a lot. I think it would be cool if he stack got taller in the middle like a pyramid, then you had the tall plants on the side. Just an idea, but great tank! btw what's an egg tumbler do exactly?

that is a cool idea. i may try it out at some point. the egg tumbler simulates what a holding mother does. it tumbles them so the eggs have new oxygen constantly. i strip my holding females and if the eggs arent developed, they go in the tumbler

I like it looks nice and clean. great job. This makes me miss my Africans.

It looks okay, as long as you and your fish are happy. If you must fiddle with it more I would maybe build it up even taller on the left side, or right side only. So that you utilize as much of the height of the tank as possible, but I wouldn't make it even across the top. Angles and slopes in the hardscape add a lot of character to a tank. I'm a plant freak so I'd put more plants... Anyhow, there's nothing wrong with it. I like it as is.

I agree - the new setup looks really good.
